Oh, Funkel's lovely son Meier has come back. Does he get well completely? It's good he was able to play.

SGE got a win in the first game of this season. We hope SGE will also win the first game of Bundesliga 0809 (and DrHammer and us hope SGE will win all games, of course. ^^)! Go SGE!!

Young strong Russ was a starting member and played full time. :)
There is the name "Rummenigge" in the members list. His name is Marco and he is son of the famous "Rummenigge". I think he must be a good player because he has the same name as Russ has. haha!
When FC Bayern came to Japan for a friendly match with Urawa Reds in 2006, Rummenigge got big squeals of delight from Japanese audience as the same as Kahn got. Japanese Bundes fans, especially who are elder, are still fond of Rummenigge. After the friendly match, Rummenigge said in an interview that he didn't thought he got such a big cheer in Japan after the long time since he retired. Rummenigge seemed to enjoy his stay in Japan with surprising applause, and he said to the media he and FC Bayern would come back to Japan soon. Hey Herr Rummenigge, please be a man of his word! lol
Well, I don't know how SGE buddies played, but I'd be happy if Funkel and sons find something new from this game. :)

Well, after watching this game, personally I feel that SGE buddies haven't got their rhythm yet, in other words, they haven't worked their combination well yet, and they still haven't known their respective fortes each other well yet. It might be the coach Funkel's job to organize such thing, but I think it's important for players to get to know deeply their way to play each other.
...I'm a bit worried about not only Marco's condition but SGE tactics condition. (-_-;
Still it remains around a week until the day of the 18 Spieltag. Go SGE, you can do it!
Also I hope Marco Russ will be in a good health again ASAP.

As like as they were at the Hessen Cup, SGE buddies and didn't look happy with the result of SGE's 3rd place.
... but I personally got a small delight with the 3 goals by Marco. hehe. :)

On 4th January 2008, SGE had the first match of the new year and they placed 2nd place of this tournament. It was "Licher Hessen Cup 2008".
