After 1-1 Draw with Qatar

The game between Japan and Vietnam of the Aisa Cup was held on 9 July in Hanoi.
Takahara scored a goal at 61 min, and the game was 1-1 draw.
Taka in the press conference looked unsatisfied and mentioned about the game with downcast eyes.

Takahara said as follows;

This JP news is here.

The opponent was so defensive from the beginning of this game. We invaded them to some extent, but we didn't have accuracy with our play. But I thought we did a better offense from side area, so we should have kept doing such a play during the second half.
Talking about my getting a score, I got a nice pass and I made it. But I know I should get a game-winning score as a FW in future games.
When it comes to this game, after my goal the opponent's defensive formation was a little bit indiscipline, but we were poor to miss that chance. I regret we didn't play offensive at that time.

Anyway, we must get three points at the next game. We must also consider well how we play in such a defensive situation and how we play after taking a lead with one score. I know we did a halfway job, not only the foul for that free kick, but also all of our performances.

...And, surprisingly,
Ivica Osim, the cool and smart coach of JP national team, got into a fury.

The JP news is here.

"You guys must keep a grip on yourself during a game! We could have won this game with 6-1. If today's game would be likened to boxing, you guys played as three ranks upper as the opponent did. Hey, you guys the hell are amture, eh?! I'm a professional. I was on the pitch with the feeling that I would kill myself if I wouldn't win. I do need you to play with such a feeling!!"
Osim strongly scolded the JP players off in the locker room, and Osim's face was flushed with anger. It was excessively forcible and the translator Mr. Chida couldn't help himself and burst out crying because of Osim's mad bawling-out.

(This it an editor's comment.)
Osim has been refused to show the players mentalism. Osim has told us that he is not a type to tell players that they must win.
Now JP national players MUST understand why Osim told them such mentalism after this defeat.
