Sonderlob vom Boss

Auf dem Weg zum Stadion hielt Eintrachts Bus plötzlich im Wald. Die Polizei vermutete Karlsruher Fans im Gebüsch. Es war aber nur viel Aufregung um nichts. Auf dem Rasen ging‘s dann auch heiß her. Nur Marco Russ ließ sich nie aus der Ruhe bringen.

"Es ist halt ein kleines Derby, weil Offenbach und Lautern nicht mehr dabei sind. Aber ich lasse mich nicht anstacheln. Mir ist das Banane."

An Russ kam kein Karlsruher vorbei. Vorstand Heribert Bruchhagen spendete Sonderlob: "Er war Super-Klasse." Dabei spielte Russ nur, weil Kyrgiakos nicht konnte. Jetzt soll er auch gegen Cottbus dicht halten. Russ: "Gut für uns, dass die Bayern geschlagen haben – sonst hätten sie vielleicht gegen uns mehr gebissen. Und wir wissen nun, dass wir nicht nachlassen dürfen."
