Taka Moves To Urawa?
IMO, I don't like it...
The JP article is here;

Urawa Red Diamonds has offered Naohito Takahara (28) to come and join them, and on 29th Urawa said that Takahara and Urawa agreed with each other about the conditions of the contract.
According to the conditions, Taka would probably get 180,000,000 yen (abut 1,100,000 Euro) per year and it will be the most highly paid players in Japan. Taka seems to decide to move to Urawa in his mind, so Taka will be a member of Urawa Reds on January if Eintracht Frankfurt will agree with Urawa Red Diamonds.
Takahara is now in Japan because of the winter break of Bundesliga. Taka will be back to Germany on 3rd January and will tell the coach Funkel and Mr Bruchhagen that he would like to move to Urawa. Nobody know SGE will accept Taka's idea, but SGE can get higher transfer fee rather than if Taka will move to another team next summer (in that case, SGE will get only about 120,000,000 yen). So it's high possible that SGE will sell Takaharra on January. The only talking point seems to be how much the transfer fee is.

... I think that it's better for Taka to be in Germany and to try to get back the regular position at least in this season...

Hi Elly,
it's official: Taka goes back to Japan :-(
I think the point was the Fenin-Transfer.
FYI: Michael Thurk goes to FC Augsburg...whatever
Best Regards from Germany, Stefan
Hi Stefan, Thank you for your message.
...Ja, it becomes true that Taka leaves SGE... I agree with you, Fenin's coming is one of the biggest triggers for Taka to decide.
I also think there are two more big reason;
1. Get a lot of chances to join the JP national team including the qualifying of the WM2010.
2. Not to relapse into a venous thrombosis by frequent long flights from Europe to Japan.
Taka himself hasn't said anything in his official JP blog yet, but I'll translate it when Taka says something officially ASAP.
IMO, I wish Taka would have stayed in SGE more...
Thurk also left, so SGE lacks of FWs again....?! Maybe they try to get some other new strikers. Let's see.
Tschuess und bis bald!
Elly
