Still No Taka

I was absent myself from my office today because of a fever. But It seems I'm not an only person who have to be on sick leave.

We got some pieces of sad news from the JP news media today(JST 22 Aug).

高原、次節復帰「たぶん無理」

フランクフルトのＦＷ高原直泰（28）が21日、復帰の遅れを示唆した。右ひざ負傷のためチームとは離れ、ボールを使わずリハビリメニューをこなした日本のエースは、「週末にボールを使ったけど痛みがある。まだちょっとかかる」と不安を口にした。フンケル監督（53）は26日のリーグ戦、ハンザロストック戦での復帰を期待していたが、「たぶん無理」と断念。

Takahara said "I think I won't be able to play..."

Eintrachtler Naohiro Takahara(28 years old) suggested on 21 Aug that he would need more time to come back. The Japanese ace has done different training menu from his colleagues and said that he had still felt pain in his right knee and needed more time. The coach Funkel (53 years old) had expected Taka would be able to play for the game against Rostock on 26 Aug, but Mr Funkel abandoned using Taka there.

代表のオーストリア遠征に高原呼ばず

「高原はああいう状況だし、呼ばないと思う。欧州組は3人くらいと聞いている」と、オシム監督が右ひざを捻挫している高原に配慮していることを明かした。

フランクフルトでリハビリ中の高原は、この日「もう少しかかる感じ」と26日のロストク戦の欠場を示唆。復帰は9月1日のブレーメン戦以降となった。

Taka won't be called for the expedition match in Austria

"Takahara is in bad health so I wouldn't call him up." Osim, who is the coach of the Japanese national team, showed his concern about Taka.

Takahara has been under the rehabilitation program and said he won't make it on the match against Rostock. Taka will probably be able to attend a game again on 1 Sep or after.





...Well, before I commented on Blog-G that the JP media said Taka was going to attend the 3.Spieltag. However now the condition has changed. Too bad.

I hope Blog-G readers who expect Taka's play can warmly keep an eye on Taka and can wait him a little longer.
